Motor y Hélice
- Engine was rebuilt in 2018 by a meticulous AI. It has had 918 hours flown on it with zero issues due to the integral engine itself. There are no known problems with it as it stands.
The prop has 343 hours since overhaul in 2021. It is a McCauley D3A34C402 per Air Plains STC. Prop was overhauled due to a prop strike on the MT Prop while taxiing. The engine case was removed, split, crank was ultrasonic tested by Tim's Aircraft Engines in Long Beach to check per AD, the crank with no damage observed. If it had been an aluminum prop, it would not have needed prop work nor engine teardown as it was such a minor strike on a dip in the asphalt. The Sullivan Prop overhauled aluminum prop replaced the MT. Live and learn. Always hold the yoke back when taxiing!
Observaciones
- Overall, this aircraft was purchased in 1995 and we put 7000 hours on it, economically and efficiently. It has complete logs. We hate to part with it but are downsizing our pistons and upsizing with PC12's. This aircraft has been maintained according to FAR Part 135 with no stones unturned. There are no outstanding issues with her. Beautiful aircraft.
